From April 16th to 19th, PGA Riviera Maya reaffirmed its international prestige by hosting the Tulum Championship for the second consecutive year. Moreover, this event strengthened Tulum Country Club’s position as a leading golf destination in Mexico.

In addition, as the only Mexican stop on the Korn Ferry Tour, it served as the final international event before the circuit returned to the United States.

Record Performance by Dylan Menante

The tournament’s standout player was American golfer Dylan Menante. Furthermore, he delivered an exceptional performance, finishing at 19 under par.

His final round of 63 not only secured the championship but also set a new course record. As a result, this became one of the most remarkable performances of the season.

In addition, his victory reinforced the competitive level of the Korn Ferry Tour at PGA Riviera Maya.

The Pro-Am tournament offered a unique experience where sport and networking came together. Moreover, it took place in an exceptional environment at Tulum Country Club.

During this event, Jaime Sitjar and Martín Rario Aron stood out with outstanding performances. Consequently, they led the winning trio alongside their respective teams.

In addition, the competition brought together 156 players from 20 different countries, further elevating the international level of the event.

Culture and Destination Experience in Tulum

The Tulum Championship evolved into a true celebration of destination, culture, and sport. Furthermore, Bahia Principe Hotels played a key role by providing world-class hospitality and gastronomy.

In addition, one of the most important highlights was the integration of local culture into the event.

A pre-Hispanic Mayan dance opened the cultural program. Moreover, it was followed by an exhibition of artisanal textiles.

This exhibition featured 195 handcrafted pieces created by women artisans from more than 10 communities in Quintana Roo. In collaboration with the Institute of Culture and the Arts and FONART, the initiative strengthened cultural identity in the region.
